Alf Engen

Alf Engen was a Norwegian American that was known as one of the best all around skiers. He was born on may 15, 1909 died july 20, 1997 he came to the state of utah and created and ownes many ski resorts including Utah’s Alta, Brighton, Brianhead, and Snowbasin. He holds many ski jump records. and is now a very important part in Utah’s history. and the coolest thing about it is that he lived and is now buried in the same city that I live in.
